Agreement between Novello SRL and IVKO

The made in Italy craftsmanship meets the worldwide luxury brand: an agreement has been
signed between NOVELLO S.r.l., a business based in Vicenza, which produces 18k gold glasses
frames, and IVKO Gmbh, a German company, leader in the worldwide distribution of luxury
eyewear with HOFFMAN and MAYBACH EYEWEAR.
The Roberto Novello eyewear collection, handmade by skilled goldsmiths in the land of
Palladio, from now on will be distributed in Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Belgium, the
Netherlands, Luxemburg, France and the United Stantes by IVKO. The partnership between the
managers of the companies Roberto Novello and Wolfgang Thelen was signed a few days ago
at the IVKO headquarters in Germany and the glasses from Vicenza will be introduced at
SIMLO 2022 from the 23th to the 26th of September, at the HOFFMAN – MAYBACH EYEWEAR
stand.

The brand Roberto Novello plunges its roots in Vicenza, from the idea of the creative talent,
producer and goldsmith dealer Roberto Novello. It was back in 2019 when Novello had the
intuition of combining the handmade goldsmith tradition of Vicenza, its techniques and its
wisdom, with eyewear design. From the first prototype, created for himself, the project began
to take shape and the first collection of fully golden glasses frames was born. These frames are
refined through the ancient art of the handmade bulino engraving, a process employed by very
few skilled goldsmiths, who carve the precious matter with a peculiar graver, called, therefore,
bulino. The result is a silk-like surface, giving luminosity, refinement, and lightness to the
eyewear.
Every single piece is identified by a progressive numbering on the certificate of guarantee,
along with the gold content and the seal, that proves its origin and its uniqueness.
